Hey ladies! I got a letter today....I am a little worried! My hubby didn't sound as upbeat as usual! He is VERY stressed out about this last written test! I am guessing it will be Monday instead of tomorrow now. He was talking about how 7-12 recruits fail the last test and how he might get asmo'd! I didn't really enjoy reading this letter today :( He said if the RDC's would just give him a lil time to study he would feel much better. So, now my specific prayer is that he will have time to look over everything and be able to remember it! I am praying for a phone call maybe today or tomorrow-just to reassure me that he will pass this test! Please pray for him!

Ok so old wasn't the word for it. Not taken care, trashy and run-down is better. it has nothing to do with architechture unless bars covering the windows is in that category. haha

Just because the housing is old doesn't mean that it's run-down. This house is from the 50's, but the best clue to it's age is the architechture; modern houses aren't shaped like shipping containers. It's got fairly modern appliances, and the windows were replaced sometime in the last 20 years.

I have been looking for a group but there doesnt seem to be one. I found Virginia group but are mostly all moms, and there was a Virginia group but nobody has been active in it since Sept.

the housing doesn't look that old actually. and i went on google maps and looked at the neighborhood and it looks like an older military town. i looked at the crime rate out there and it's lower than the town i use to live in. if i was moving out that way, i wouldn't be worried. is it going to be for a school only or is that his duty station also? and i agree, it's more important to be together than anything else! i'll keep looking and see if i find out anything else. is there a group for that base where you can ask other wives and see how it is out there?
