If you can't get reservations at the Foster Creek Villas, the Comfort Suites @ 2540 N Forest Dr North Charleston, SC ·have interior corridors, as does the Sleep Inn. They both have a free breakfast and are close to Cracker Barrel.

We have stayed at this motel many times on our visits to our son. It is not fancy, but it's clean. Also not that expensive. Our son books the room for us and I think he gets a military discount. The main reason we stay there is because they alllow pets and we have to take our son's dog with us! We'll be there on 11/20 for his graduation.

I just booked with Springhill Suites in North Charleston for the Nov graduation. They have a deal where you book 2 nights and get a 3rd night free. When I called the they said it was a internet deal only. It's a new hotel, just opened this year, and has all the "bells and whistles" LOL

Crime in Goose Creek has been on the rise recently. I would not recommend staying in goose creek. Stay in north charleston over by the mall. its ten minutes from the base, much safer, with newer hotels, and by and large in the same price range as the ones in goose creek.

Also, aside from picking up/ dropping off your sailor, there is NOTHING to do in goose creek. its strictly residential. You'll spend most of your time in North Chuck downtown and possibly mount P at the Yorktown. I-26 runs straight through North chuck on your way to downtown. its much more convenient to stay in North Chuck.
