Sent orders (for protein bars and athletic on the go replenisher goodies..) -- hopes it get there soon...

Hi Everyone,

My son is in Goose Creek. His aunt made him some cookies and would like to send to him.  Does anyone have the address for the housing. I have his room number ..not sure exactly where to send and how to address.

Thanks!!

proudwinavymom- I don't recall if your son has "classed up" yet, or if he is still INDOC?

They do not use their room numbers for their addresses. Instead it goes by INDOC or their class number. So, address your sailor either as FN (if MM or EM), or SN (if ET)

My son is an ET so I address it:

SN First  Last name

INDOC (if you have a class number it goes here instead) - if not sure then just leave it as INDOC

101 NNPTC Circle

Goose Creek, SC  29445
I hope this makes sense. The sailors live in several different buildings (BEQ's) and they are all named for ships, I think, and then their room numbers. Just having a room number doesn't help with identifying where they are.
You can send items by USPS with a flat rate priority box, that insures and gives a tracking number and generally from the Midwest, will get to GC in 2 days. But then it takes another day for the mailroom to process the mail and notify the sailors they have a pkg. And they can generally only go get their mail in the afternoon. I find if I can get the pkg mailed on Mon or Tues from OK, that works best for my son, because it is usually ready for him to pick up on Friday.
Hope this helps.

Text your son if you can and ask him for his class number. It should be a four digit number with a dash and a letter.

For example, my son's class number is 1801-T.

Yes that helps so much!

Good!! Glad it made sense!
