Hi All, I've noticed several posts of people searching for others with sons/daughters/spouses power school start date in Oct - so I thought we should start a discussion group and meet up :)

Uh oh, totally messed up, Ryan just told me the test is on Friday - he originally told me Thursday but it's Friday! So Carol was right on both accounts!

lol I had just sent a text saying good luck on the test and that I will be thinking about him... :) - which he should read in the morning.... I will now be getting a text from Aaron saying uh Mom thanks for thinking of me but the test isn't today its tomorrow... ( or something to that sort)

Carol - LOL - at least he knows you are thinking of him. An extra day of good wishes certainly couldn't hurt! Thanks for keeping us on top of things Casey - my son never tells me about these things until after the fact or I bring it up because I've heard it from one of you!

lol Carol I'm sorry! Just tell him the time change confused you... by a whole day...

Gail - sometimes RYAN is the one who learns stuff from US too! Especially from the Sailors who post their experiences about the pipeline... he enjoys reading those.

Yeah he might believe the time change excuse.... lol I've been wrong several times in my well wishes on a test - so he is used to it.
When Aaron has a question he has asked me to post it here so we could find the answer :) I love this site.

Hi friends - Just got home from spending 2 days with new grandson!! Our daughter and son-in-law have given us 2 grandchildren now. We are so blessed. Aaron is anxious to get home at Christmas to see his new nephew!!!

Well Christmas will be here sooner than we think! Just think how wonderful it will be to have our sailors home. Post of picture of your new grandson Terry - I love babies! Anybody find any good airfares yet? It is so expensive to fly to Colorado so far. And of course I just have to be one of those control type people who wants their ticket booked way ahead of time!

Aaron finally got bought his flight to MT for about 610.00 he was getting upset bcause all we were finding was tickets for 1000.00. Travelocity is where he ended up getting his.

I am the same way about wanting tickets booked ahead. I know my Aaron and his wife, Sara, bought their tickets already -- not a clue what they had to pay for them though. And they won't be flying straight here. They will fly from GC to Springfield, Illinois to see her parents for the first week. We will meet Sara's parents halfway between Illinois and Kansas to pick up the kids on Dec. 26th and then Aaron and Sara will fly out of Kansas City on January 2nd.

I'll get a picture of Malachi posted when I get home from work. He is adorable -- and his 3 yr. old sister thinks he is the best thing EVER!
