Hi Everyone! My son,Sal, will graduate on the 20th, exactly one year from the date he went in. We will be coming up from Florida. He said he will be staying in GC for 6 months on t-track before continuing on for prototype.

We just received our invitation yesterday as well. I was beginning to think that my son had not informed them that we wanted to come. He kept insisting that it was not necessary. We are going though.

help -- my son, Andy, was supposed to graduate Power School on Sept 25th. Unfortunately, he was rolled out for medical reasons. He has now been re-instated and is slated to graduate on 11/20. Here's the problem -- because of being rolled out we were not sent an invitation to the 9/25 ceremony -- and now because he was re-instated we won't receive a graduation announcement to the 11/20 because the announcements were all done prior to his being re-instated. Would someone be willing to scan and send me a copy of the announcement so we know all the who, what, where, etc.?

Hi Mrs. Andy,
The invite was really just a xerox copy. Not fancy at all which kind of surprised me. I can definately make a copy and bring it along so that you can have it as a souvenir. Private message me with your son's last name so that I can tell me son to point him/you out to me at the grad.

Mrs. Andy, "The Commanding Officer, Naval Nuclear Power Training Command requests the honor of your presence at the graduation of Nuclear Power School Class 0905, Friday, November 20, 2009. Ceremony will commence at 9:00AM. Guests are requested to arrive no later than 10 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Military: Service Dress Blues. Civilian attire: Informal." That's pretty much it. There's a little map on the back so maybe somebody with a scanner can send it to you.

Class 904's graduation actually started at 10 bec. RA Lister of the Royal Navy was the keynote. All others start at 9a. Unless rain is a factor they are in the circle just off of the parking lots. You should plan on being inside the Station 45 mins to hour beforehand to be safe and to look around but it's not as bad crowd, traffic or seating-wise as I've read. It's definitely not the PIR nightmare! Once you get to Red Banks Road just follow the signs. There are plenty of them.

Congratulations and enjoy!
