**UPDATE FROM THE USS FITZGERALD - 6/22/17**

The FPO box for the USS Fitzgerald is getting overloaded and they can't keep up.  If those that wanted to donate could please utilize the online sources (USO/RedCross/NMCRS).

If you want to donate there are a few ways to help out:

You can donate directly to the Red Cross and indicate your donation is for the USS Fitzgerald.

Red Cross https://www.redcross.org/donate/donation

You can send items directly to the USS Fitzgerald - toiletries, clothing or cards - use the "If it fits, it ships" military boxes:

I donated this morning by going on Amazon.com. For me, it was so much easier. Buy in bulk & send it straight there with a gift note. If you're a Prime member shipping is free allowing you to send more.

That's awesome - thank you!

Here's an update from Anti M:

Comment by Anti M yesterday

Right now, the USO is full up on toiletries and clothing.  It has been suggested that sending a donation to the agencies who are providing comfort and necessities on the ground may be the best course of action.  Molly does a great job, but so do the families and sailors who are volunteering in Yokosuka.  The $14 spent on postage may be better used in the hands of the volunteers.

I was able to send out 12 boxes with the help of my clients!! Super excited. Last box to ship out tomorrow. I heard it takes 10 days to get to them. So by now they should be starting o get packages daily!! I'm so happy for the support in my community

That's great Cejota - thank you and please thank your clients for their help too :)
