My son actually never complained about the food.  Actually said it was pretty good.  I felt that was a HUGE insult to me because I would spend a lot of time cooking meals around our house only to hear how he didn't like them. (And I'm not a bad cook.  One day when he was really little after seeing a whole balancd meal on the table for dinner said to me, "Why can't you be like other Moms and let us eat ceareal or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for dinner."  I almost choked on my food laughing and said, "That's so when you are in jail you can miss your Mom's home cooking."  We all got a good laugh out of that since he knew I was just kidding.

Thanks, everyone for the warm welcome!  My son will fit right in with the other nukes.  He never studied and wouldn't even do home work if he didn't feel like it.  He always got As & Bs in HS and I am hoping he isn't thinking that nuke school is going to be as easy.  He says he applies himself when it's important for him to do so.  I guess I'll just worry myself crazy for him no matter what.  He also isn't big on sharing what's going on in his life.  But he has gotten much better at that by writing to me from BC.  N4Moms has helped a lot!

I just asked my sailor, and he has no idea about special doings on Sunday. So if there are plans, they are being kept under wraps.

They has some of them online for boot camp?  I missed that.  My son had two of his teeth extracted at boot camp and now two more in Power School.  My son says on Fridays they often have steak and crab legs.  Sometimes the steak is a little tough (but he is a bit picky with steak.)  He did tell me recently when they had it the steak was awesome and the legs are always good.  Tough life there.
Comment by William in Nashua on April 19, 2011 at 3:53pm

Sorry about your son's teeth Elizabeth mine had his extracted during high school,  you would think they would wait until after Easter but, I can see why they do it over a weekend so they do not miss class.

It would be great to see some of the menus from NNPTC like they had some online for boot camp, I am curious what they serve them for food.

Sorry, William I don't know.  Saw your post before and did not respond because I don't know.  I am betting they have a special dinner, however.  My son may be too sore from his wisdom teeth extraction to enjoy anything.  I think their timing $%#^@.  Good Friday right before Easter.
Comment by William in Nashua on April 19, 2011 at 3:35pm

Does anyone know if they treat Easter as just a regular day, or do they have a special dinner set up for them?  Anyone?  Thanks.

Got word from Diego about T-track after A school graduation and when Power school starts and grad date for that. We will be going for Power School Graduation, that is the big one we have been told.

Yep, Janiece...........doesn't matter if you are at the top of your class or at the bottom, in the end............you are still a "Nuke" or still a "Doctor!" Good for them, I am sure everyone will pass. They learn so much in a short period of time, heck I know that I couldn't do it!

Welcome to the new moms!!! Happy to have you aboard!!!
