marsbars,
it turns out that navymom284 and I graduated from the same high school. Waiting to hear what year she was there. I'm guessing long after I left.

Leslie- I think he tried out for the Navy band at some point but was told to try again or something. Was also told to try Army but he only wanted Navy because of Jared. They look so much alike. On our way to OCS we passed the brother and I waved like crazy and he looked at me like who is this. Sean laughed and said must not be Jared.

Emily will be in Virginia Beach, VA. She reports by Nov. 28th for a Nov 30th start. Will be there through May 7th. Congratulations 04!!!!!!!! It is your turn! WooHoo!!

marsbars--- it was funny about the twin thing. He was shocked to hear me say it and then to watch his mother's reaction , automatically giving me a big hug as if we'd known eachother forever, having so much to say ... my son thought it was strange too. I don't care. I'm used to the "eye rolling" thing. Nolan went to his high school homecoming this weekend. When I went to take pictures of his group that he went with, I knew half the parents there. He was shocked. They don't realize that parents have social lives too. lol. Jared's brother is equally impressive. Some sort of musician going to an amazing school. I forget exactly.

Katie Jo and Coach -- ( you'll always be coach to me)-- Have a wonderful graduation. I get the " dumb question" thing too. Or the " Why do you care about that, Mom?"

Cheryl -- So glad Michael is doing better. Hope he classes up soon.

Lauren-- I love your new picture. What a handsome couple you two make.

Mike- Jared said he thought there was someone else who would be joining him but could not remember the name. It will be exciting for both of them to work together and get info from one another. It is Officer Hometown Area Recruiting Program. Usually you work in a recruiting office.

marsbars232- The detailer told him probably East Lansing until he classes up in Charleston for Nuke school in March. I forgot, what does OHARP stand for? Isn't it work in the recruiting office?

Mamadoc- I agree with NavyPrincess. Encourage your son's GF to join the site. I found it very helpful after I realized it wasn't only for moms! Everyone here is so supportive and it's just amazing the friendships you can form through the whole process.
