Army/Navy Mom, We all hate to hear one of our children is hurt in anyway. Put the Christmas Tree up and enjoy our time with him during this hard time. Bless all our service men and women.

Army/Navy Mom so sorry to hear about your Army son's circumstances. Sorry to hear that his leave has to be used for that instead of Christmas!!! My blue candle will be burning bright for your son, my son, & all others that won't be home over Christmas!!!

It seems like forever that I have been here. I heard from Todd the day before they were going to be leaving. He called me to see the best way to fix ribs. He was cooking about 30 lbs of ribs, mashed potatoes, and mac/chesse for some of the guys on the ship. I haven't heard how it turned out. My son that is in the army is home for a two week leave. He took it now instead of Christmas as he had to get things in order as he is going thru a divorce. He found out that his wife was seeing someone else after he was overseas in Iraq. It is never a dull moment around here! Well time to get back to housecleaning. Hope all of you and your sailors are doing well. I am going to make a conscious effort to be here more often!
