Pat lefts for Harrisburg this morning and leaves for GL tomarrow. I am just trying to get through the day. He did call me to let me know he was ok... I think he just wanted to check on me :-)

The shooter of the trooper took his child from next door to my friend. They heard the arguement. So sad. Jason gave for his country & his state and this happens. Our sailors give all and deserve all. Support all military and law enforcement.

hello yall,
i was born in the great state of texas, but have lived in norristown, pa. for the last year and a half. my son graduated boot camp last friday and prouder i could not be. i am hoping you will allow me to join your group. frankly i need the support and encouragement. i am not used to the "military life". thanks,

Jason Miller was stationed in Swiftwater, Monroe County. Which is right across the Deleware water gap. Alot of the troopers from New Jersey came. And those from Pittsburg were here too. He was shot down after a long car chase, I beleive it happened on Rt 611. But that brave young man graduated from the same school as my son and they had the funural at the school here.
I saw Police from as far away as Texas here at the service.

Hi all, my son is also up for 3rd class petty officer in September. Does it take them 6 months to get their pay for that? WOW.
Candice, sorry to hear about the state trooper, that just happened not to long ago around Pittsburgh too and I had never seen soo many troopers and others in my life either. It is great to see they all come out to support each other. Where did this happen? I don't get to watch much tv so I unfornutaly did not hear about it on there. My best friends husband is a state trooper and when my son gets out of the Navy he wants to do that also. It scares me but if that is what he wants to do that is fine with me. Linda: My son just became a E4 - 3rd Class Petty officer, too; he was pinned the day before leaving GITMO,June 5th. He says now he has to wait 6 mo to start receiving pay for it. They have to prove they are willing to do the work, and take on the extra responsibility, before getting paid.
