Peaches will remember..our dogs still walk into my daughters room, sniff her bed, look puzzled and make rounds of the house..Dogs dont forget their "pack" members...

Kelly~Our dogs had not seen hubby from Jan til July and they remembered him! They ran up giving kisses and jumped on him then cuddled with him the week he came home on leave. They never forget!! He has nothing to worry about I am sure. They miss him as much as he missed them :)

someone posted a blog with videos of soldiers/sailors being greeting by their dogs after a time away/deployment. really cute

my son is worried that after 6 mo our dog peaches won't remember him, i told him that sh'ell probably pee all over when she sees him she will be so excited. after seeing those videos i know sh'ell go bezerk.

Poor Brandi! I hope she's feeling better..I echo Kelly, it is tough when they are hurt and sick...our pets are family and we just want to give them the happiness they give us..

Love all the pet photo's keep them coming.

I have a sick little girl on my hands here. Our Brandi girl had to go to the vets last night she started late sunday night not wanting to go outside to do her bussness on monday i noticed she was not getting up to eat or drink with the other dogs (we have 4). Tuesday she would not move at all so when my husb got home from work we took her over to my office. The doctor did blood work and sent me home to give subQ fluids last night we got her to eat half a cup of dog food. The vet called me this morning to tell me her bloodwork is great nothing showing up. So I guess this means I take her to work with me today for xrays. Because this morning she is the same as she was last night before we took her.

Perry is awesome! We love birds at our house, we have had quite a few, even a pet Turkey that no-one could kill at Thanksgiving..We have a veritable zoo of found an unwanted animals..Chief is a puppy? Is he Newfoundland? He looks to be a big boy with a big frame...

perry is cute. crash is the same way in the cage, though he will let my husband pet him if i hand him to my husband and he's holding him. strange. the dogs are saying,"hey why can't we come out too!!" haha...

Wev'e never had anything as big as an iguana. my brother(who is a HS science teacher) had a monitor lizard in his class. that thing was so mean he would attack the glass when people went by, thus of course injuring his nose. a lot of people are crazy about iguanas but they grow so big.

Chaela - Pablo looks like a sweetie. Yea I know I'm another one of those nuts who thinks iguanas look nice. I know what you mean about liking only 1 person. My double-yellow head parrot Perry is the same with me. I inherited her from my godmother who passed a few years ago, I only just got her this summer, she's 30y/o now. She hates my husband!! She actually goes to attack him if he goes near her cage..lol. (smart bird) But she will snuggle with me and is now letting me pet the back of her head and she puts her head down for fusses now. Considering she didn't know me before the first week in Aug she's doing great with me.
