Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 065 and 066

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

we have not gotten a call either .. ship 09 division 065  but he did write his brother a letter he got it saturday.. it was post marked 23 dec .. still wishing for a call.. cant wait tell 1/17/14.. so we can just give him a hug and hear his voice

it is with a sad heart that I must tell you my son on Ship 9 Div 066 will be medically separated from the Navy and sent home in 3 weeks. he is very sad and as his mom it pains me to see my son this way but I must trust in the Lord that He has a plan. thank you for all your support and I wish you all the best and Godspeed

So sorry to hear this! I'm sure he is devastated. Everything does work out for a reason. He will go on to better things! Good luck to you and your son.

I am so sorry Mom! I know this must be a huge disappointment for him. I know how it feels to see one of my boys not be able to follow through with a goal. I think it really hurts us more than them. I'm so glad to hear you say God has a plan. He never closes one door without opening another. And you know that as much as you love your son, God loves him trillion times more, His plans are to help your son and not harm him. My son is Daegan in division 65. Your sons brother division. My son is the religious petty officer. He is a great listener and extremely compassionate. Maybe they could talk. My prayers are with you, your son, and family. God Bless.

P.S. I wonder what awesome adventure God has for him. Keep in touch.

No call here either. My son is in DIV 66. I heard that there are so many that they all can't call. Was hoping since we didn't get a call on Christmas that we might get one today. I too love the countdown calendar and the temperature there. We are going to have to bundle up for PIR!! Hope the weather is better than right now. They are getting a blizzard.

I thought this week was Hell week. I received 2 letters on Thursday from him. Someone else had told me hell week was next week but I think that must be another division. I'm just glad its over for them. Now on to firefighting and battle stations. Can't wait to hug my boy's neck!  We are driving so I hope all this snow is taken care of before we get up there.

I'm hating this silence!!! I'm taking it as no news is good news. Has anyone heard when 66 will have their battle stations?

has anybody heard anything from ship 9 div 066

*(post copied and pasted from separate discussion group)

We fly out tomorrow... I'm really hoping everything goes well, otherwise I'll have a weekend vacation in Chicago. I got a lot of things done today in preparation for this weekend. Trying to keep my mind off my getting "the call". Changed my voicemail so if we do get the call he knows I'm flying out there. I hope everything goes well for ALL of our SR's! Light those candles and I'll be saying prayers for all of them and us who will be traveling!
