We got our DVD yesterday. Sat right down and watched it with my hubby (TJ's stepdad) who didn't attend. Made me cry all over again!

DVD came Fedex yesterday!! Was awesome to watch!! Was bummed on the Crack Gun part though as the sound was muted so could not hear the crack of the rifles as we did when we were there! No Division book yet!!

Hello all my sister/friends from 10/3!! Wanted to check in and say hello and that I got the DVD of the ceremony today via Fedex!! No Keel yet, but I am going to be watching it all again tonight!! Miss you all!!

Good afternoon all! Just taking a break from unpacking.. hopefully spongee will have it all done next week at this time... lets hope! I want my pineapple clean and organized. right now.. yhuck we won't talk about it.. it is driving me CRAZY

I'm not sure what we're doing for Turkey Day yet? It depends on if Cody gets to leave the base (with over-night liberty) or not? Being as we're not far from the base, and I have family with-in 30 miles of base, I know we'll spend the day with him one way or another. We're planning on 'adopting' a couple sailors that day as well! I figure I always cook enough to feed an army, so feeding a small 'fleet' won't be much different! LOL It's so much fun to spend time with them all, I almost feel bad that I get to see them when I know their own families can't. At least this way I know they're with a 'family' and not alone.

We enjoyed the weekend with Zak so much! PIR was just awesome, so organized, so patriotic (of course). Wow! When we went to pick Zak up one morning on base and they started playing the National Anthem and everyone got out of their cars and stood for that, it just brought tears to my eyes. I think I never truly realized the sacrifices of so many people. Congratulations to everyone and your sailors. Zak didn't get to leave, he was sent to THU. The recruit that was taking care of his medical evaluation didn't schedule him a cat scan that he has to have for his job in the NUKE program. He is supposed to get it done Friday. Please pray for him, he is getting very frustrated and discouraged. It's going to work out though. Thanks for all the support and encouragement, I wish I could've met all of you at the Meet & Greet, but we didn't get to the Navy Lodge until almost 10 pm.

Congrats to all the new 10/3 Sailors!!! It was a wonderful time and one I won't forget! Wish we could do this all over again as it was great to put a face with all the webpages. Hey girls, maybe we can get all those blue shirts together again some time!! Josh is doing well but still doesn't call his mom enough but at least now I can call and ball him out! Stay in touch all as I do want to know how the boys/girls are getting on with life.
