when our guys left my husband was the head yoeman for this division. things have changed. he says that there are alot of talkers. they get I.T'd all the time and yelled at. in a letter he wrote recently he ssaid that the RDC's stated that they dont care anymore flipped a few tables and chairs and started firing our guys left and right. my husband has gotten cellulitus in he knee he now has strep and the flu. Im not trying to be the berroe of bad news but it is definatly getting rough for them. he said other than the talking the division as started coming together. he sounded so tired of everything when he called. i dont know how to cheer him up. i only said that i love him and that i have my own bootcamp to go through (a lady high off prescribed meds totaled my brand new car on the 3rd.) and not to worry. i miss him so much. im so stressed out. any advice?

Hi dlwilson, I also heard from my son in his last letter that there are recruits that can't stay quiet. He didn't mention the IT. He Religious PO so he said he found scripture about holding your tongue and read it to them during night prayer time. LOL He loves his job, so I pray he still has it. I'm so sorry to hear your husband is sick. I know that there is so much going around and they are worn out at this point. My son did mention having a sore throat/cold/sinus combo when he called a week ago. It is good to hear you say the division is coming together. From what I understand, they do go through a low point and then things will start to get better. Stay positive and encouraging to your husband and write everyday. That will be the best medicine! It is so hard not to be able to talk to them... How are you after the car accident? Were you hurt? It;s good to have you aboard, stay in touch! We'll continue to pray for our recruits.

Hey there,

How are you doing? Things getting better for you? Can't believe that graduation is next week already. Time sure did pass quickly all of a sudden. Now, your husband is on Ship 3, Div 350? We are staying at the Residence in Waukegan. Here is my cell if you would like to get in touch. 508-997-1092. Hope to meet you at graduation.
God Bless!

Hi Dezirae,

My son is Ship 3, Div 350. Master At Arms, graduating October 9, going to San Antonio, Texas for his "A" school. My e-mail address is pp38coco@comcast.net if you would like to keep in touch that way. It is easier for me. Thanks for the reply!

Do all the recruit not go to the same school? I thought Matt was gonig to SC for A_school. I live in TX and that's really exciting if he'll be in TX! :) I won't get my hopes up tho! Is it based on their job?

No they don't all go to the same school, yes it's based on their job. My husband is going to CT. What job is he doing?

gld- there is a website with grad info:http://wwwl.netc.navy.mil/nstc/rtcgl/index.asp. It was on the form letter we got(seems like years ago!). I haven't gone on it yet, but it's suppose to have schedule of events.
Hope everyone's hanging in there, so proud of our recruits!

Good Morning, hope everyone is well,
Gina, Yahoo...today is Thursday, we may have a letter to read!!! We have only gotten the 1 phone call also, and I wasn't home so my husband talked to our son. In a letter, he mentioned how the phone calls are a privilige(sp?) so they must have to be awarded them as a division. He also said to expect a call on Oct 7, I don't know if that is written in stone. I tried that website and couldn't get on, but if you go to recruit training command great lakeswebsite and then select families at the top, then a drop down menu will say graduation and you can get the schedule there. Everyone have a great day, one day closer!!

That's good enough for me!!! He says his A school is from October 20- December 4 in Texas. He says that next week he will receive his orders for A school and douts that he is grad'n go.
"I could totally go for a malassada right now or like a good cup of coffee instead of the brown tinted hot water I've been drinking."
14 days Ladies!!!!!!
Have a great day!
