Jeremy called last night and we got to talk for almost an hour. It was awesome! Nice to catch up with all the things that have been going on since PIR. Glad he finally got his phone!
He got leave for the 23rd to the 2nd! I'm so excited. We were hoping for Christmas, but to get blessed with both Christmas and New Years was beyond what we were asking for. Can't wait to go get him!!
Hope everyone is working forward in all their Christmas preparations. We finally have the tree and most of the decorations up (not worrying about the rest), dinner plans are made, cookies are getting made next week and shopping is almost done. Only thing left.......to remind myself every day what the true meaning of Christmas is. Merry Christmas everyone!

My other sailor just informed me last night he is getting married. In 2 weeks!
He is getting married in SD and there is no way I can go. me cry
I hope he realizes what he is getting into.

- And, to add more to Wendy's comment....they all LOVE Battlestations! It allows them to put to work everything they have been busting A$$ to learn while there. By the time they are done they are hot, tired, beat and soooo proud of themselves. And, Jeremy was stoked to get a Babe Ruth bar and an energy drink!

- No worries. The last PFT and run is about a week before Battlestations. Just a heads up..it is said that BS is a test..but really, it's more of a replay of everything they've learned. Don't worry. She do fine!!!
