Thomas finally got orders to school in Pensacola! Yay! He's made wonderful friends in GL, but oh how he hates the cold weather. He's really looking forward to getting to warmer weather. It's great to hear how everyone is doing well!

Congratulations Jamie on the ring.

My son is home for three long weeks before he heads for Japan. Can you believe the first thing he did was clean up his room? I mean it is spotless and his Navy clothes are all hung up neatly.

HI all. Just talked with Ian. Intelchips, yes, Ian did help Ryan out last week. He just did what any others would of done if they were in the same situation. He has always been that way with friends. Glad he got that whole thing straightened out. Seems my son has become the grill master and has a following. He told me that the guys now buy the food and he cooks it up. When he asked me for the best ingredients to do a marinade for lamb I was impressed. He also asked if I was thinking about sending him another care package. I guess anything homemade is a real treat for all of them. So for Easter I will send a box of goodies including some fresh baked cookies for him. Now, ladies (and gents) lets make our sons and daughters the most popular ones of their ships. Time to send them all big boxes of all the junk food they can handle and lots of homemade favorites too.

Hi everyone Coty is finally classing up. His birthday was yesterday April 4th (he is now 20) ....other then that not much is new so far

He's very excited. He'll still get to see different places when he deploys so it's good. He has a friend that recruited with him and they got Norfolk too.

Judy R.... its just one duty station and this time it may not be what he wants but he will get other opportunities if he stays with the Navy for a while. Nothing lasts forever. I wish him the best.
