Kym, so awful that she was in such an accident! send me your address and I will send her a get well card!

Conster... I got a message from your sweet girl the other day and I will be making her a pillowcase. She wants me to send it to you so you can see it and then send it to her!  Can't wait to "create" the Perfect Pillowcase for your baby girl! She is so sweet, and is now the 3rd Sailor on the USS Stennis that I am friends with (their Moms)! LOL!

Also, be praying. A young married man shot himself in Charleston, SC last night. Wife was not at home, not sure if she had "left" or what. Drinking was involved, but we don't know specifics.

She is 17 and a senior. Her name is Abbi. She plays/played volleyball and good at it. She loves horse riding.....she is so sad. We are so blessed. Brother is a corpsmanand wants to know everything. So nice.

My Sailor, has been deployed. She is so nervous and excited at the same time. Does anyone elses Sailor on deployment? She won't be home this Christmas. I am waiting to find out her address, and to see if she can receive care packages.

News here...One week ago today our daughter wrapped her car around a telephone pole.  Took 45 minutes to get her out, ICU, surgery on arm, today we are home!!!!God is so amazing.  She has a broken pelvis-3 or 4 places, broken arm that needed plates and pins, bruises, a few small cuts- none on her face, good thing for a girl and a mild head injury.  Son in CL not able to come home, doing better now but was upset he couldn't be here.  Thats out update.....

good morning all!!  just checking in!  any update on Conster??

Well... the latest on our end is that she did fail out or and get released from her "C" school, but... the good news is...  she is staying in the Navy and got her orders the other day, and.... she is headed home to Tennessee!!  Not too close to home, but... not far away either!!  She will be able to come whenever she feels the need, but... far enough away to have her own life!!  I do believe it is just what the doctor ordered!!  Thank you God!!

I hope you all have a great day and that all is going well for all your little sailors!!  ( even if the are 6' 4"  !!)

FYI Everyone! Conster (div 116) was in an accident this morning and rolled her car. Bruised and scared, they are still running tests on her. Her two oldest (Sailor-daughter and military-son) are also at the hospital with little brother. This is the Mom who's husband died during PIR week 2!  If you have her email, I am encouraging you to send her messages, she is also on Facebook. NMHugs.  Please pray for her and her kids!

Well I know what you mean about saying what you know needs to get said & then the rest is up to them. Some how they make there way -all we can do is pray after every thing is said & done. I'm not sure when my son will finish his deployment to Japan. I've talked with another whose son is in the same squad & she said she thought some time in November. I'm hopeful it will be before Christmas. On a brighter note, we finally dropped into the 80's instead of those dreadful 100+ degrees days here in the Fort Worth, TX area:))
