He was home for almost 2 weeks-- managed to fly in on Thanksgiving day. He also got engaged while he was home to his gf of 3 1/2 years! He does seem to like Guam, although he says he misses the snow this time of year :-)

Very glad you had him home. How long did he get to visit? Is he happy to be in Guam? I sure hope so..Merry Christmas to you and everyone!!!

Hope you have a great Christmas Cindy, so glad your daughter will be home :-) My son is in Guam, enjoying the beaches! Will miss him but it was great to have him home before he went!

Daughter finished OS A school today. Cleaning day tomorrow and grad on Thursday morning...Yea :)!!! Still no orders. Someone lost the whole class but has now been found so hoping orders will come before she leaves on Friday. So very excited about her coming home!!! I am thankful. I am lucky. To those of you who don't get to see your sailors for Christmas my prayers and thoughts are with you, your sailors and your families!!!! Carry them in your heart!! We are blessed by all who serve our country....THANKS!!!!!

Ours was OK as well. Went to visit Dustin in Pensacola but he had duty so only saw him for about an hour on Thanksgiving but the rest of the weekend he was on liberty so he got to spend the night so it was all worth it! He will be home for Christmas as well!!

My younger boys are counting down the days till our sailor gets home for Christmas break. We are very excited to see him.

We had a nice Thanksgiving too, although our sailor wasn't with us. He had a good dinner on base and then a friend that lives with his wife and baby in base housing had him and a couple of other sailors over for another dinner later. He said he had a good time.

Thats wonderful you have him home now. Enjoy your visit it will go fast!!! Where is he going to be stationed? My daughter is due to grad A school Jan 20th....but actually they are pushing through so fast they were thinking that on Fridays stay an extra 3 hours so they could grad before stand down...Dec 18th...she really doesn't like being pushed this hard she feels her grades are slipping...she got an 86% on her last test but she had been striving for 90% or higher. She feels all the rushing has put her and others in a lower percentage rate:(

My sailor is home right now, so mine was great!! Will miss him for Christmas, but it sure is good to see him :-) Hope yours was good as well!
