WOW! I thought everyone had forgotten about this page! I miss "talking" to y'all. I've tried a couple other groups, but they're SO huge and it all seems to become very impersonal. PIR 12/19 is still my home.
Winston is doing great. He graduates from A-school in Goose Creek, SC, on June 26th. Then he's on leave, returning right back to GC on July 5th for the 2nd 6-months of nuke school.
Everyone, keep in touch. It's great to hear how all the original group is doing.
Take Care!

Anne that's kind of cool to have the video. I have to admit, I really would've liked to have seen it being done. Just curious about all the 'buzzing', I guess!

Jeanne that's great I love the tattoo.I did have to go back to get some finalizing done on mine so it kinda ended up to be 2 sittings but most of the 2nd one was him fixing the one on my neck which is also a celtic knot.I had thought that maybe I would get another connecting my neck and back pieces but remembering the pain made me change my mind lol. It's kinda cool though my sister took some video on my digital camera while I got my back done and recently asked me if she could use it for a class she is taking to go with her essay on tattoos.

Jeanne! You are such a trip! That is absolutely beautiful, and more so because you designed it. Quite the intricate love knots woven in there.

Krista! How the heck are you? Glad to hear Rob is doin great too. Addicted to the tattoo's too are ya? Once you get one, it gets real easy to have another done, huh?

Hi Linda, congrats on your daughter getting her orders!
Jeanne Comment by Jeanne on March 26, 2009 at 5:35pm
Linda, I'll bet it's exciting for her to get her orders! The 3 nuke kids on here won't even begin to think about getting orders until sometime in the summer of '10!! Zach's already hoping for subs in WA! He hasn't waivered on that at all, so I hope it happens for him.
Krista, I can't believe the # of people I've met on here who have tats! I don't know if I'll ever get another, but I won't rule it out. Mine is in honor of A, my Irish heritage, B, I'm a handweaver, and absolutely love the weaving in celtic knots, and C, I figured the shamrock not only honors the irish part, but with 3 separate leaves, there's one for each of my kids. And the simple fact that I have it at all is a nod to my husband. He has several, and all these years there was no image that meant enough to me to get it tatooed, and then all of a sudden about 2 weeks ago it came to me, I drew it, and I figured it was absolutely meant to be. And believe it or not, I've got to keep this secret from my mom, or she will just die! Can you believe it? I'm 50 and am still worried about "getting in trouble"!!!
