Thanks Melody! That is one of my favorite pics too, everyone says it belongs on a postcard or in a magazine. I will have to scan more pics just for you. :) My heart goes out to Jordan, I typically work PCU but have worked ICU many times. You definately need a strong heart to work ICU. Donna, I'm glad Tim finally got orders! I guess Meridian also teaches patience along with the other curriculum. Well ladies, I leave for Norfolk on Monday to be with my hubby for 2 weeks before he deploys. I hope everyone has a blessed Christmas!

Melody-So no idea why his orders changed? Will he be at Cl instead of going to Geiger or is this just temporary? So confusing. What about the plans for Jordan & Erin to get married? I'll let Kenny know of the change in case he hasn't talked to Jordan this week. I know they still keep in touch with each other. Navy brothers for life!!

Hey Donna, I'm right there with ya. Doc's orders are all weird and instead of Geiger he is a CL. He will be working at the Naval Hospital on the ICU. Does not get to come home for Christmas , hopefully he will get to come home on the 28th! . but we'll see. He has had a rough week but he is not complaining. He is worried about his buddies that are deployed in Jan. He made some wonderful friends during his schooling and misses all of them. We are praying for all of his shipmates and thier families! He has had some Great instructors that have trained them well so that is a great encouragement to all of us! Hats off to them for their dedication in getting our soldiers prepared! I get frustrated at times but it is what it is and I have God to rely on! HALLLELUJAH!!

Hi everyone,

Tim officially checked in at Pax River, Maryland yesterday. I guess the let down begins now. I feel the way I always do after Christmas, just a little bit said and lonely. He sounded great when he called yesterday morning and he seems to be happy to be there. The nice part is that if it turns out that he doesn't like it he will have hope knowing that it is only for a couple of years and man does that time fly by.
Glad to read all of the happy updates. Your all blessings to be around.

Love you!
