Hello PIR 10-17. I have a son in div 859, ship 14. I was unable to go the grad (because ex and spouse will not share ANY info with me or get him my phone number). I have sent it to him, but, as you know, the mail system is....... I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a video, a phone number, ??? I know his is in standing due to a color bind test. I didn't want to sent anymore letters till I get a new address and it get lost. I am very upset and feel cheated. I need more control of this situation. He is going to be a navy diver. PLEASE REPLY

Sorry about that Stephanie, I am so used to saying sons sometimes I forget there are girlfriends and wives on this site. By the way his division did a great job with the flags, I was able to video tape all of the things that they did. I thought it was very cool.

Lynn Z. - AM's are Aviation mechanic.. but Steven is the equipment mechanic, who does the ejection seats, air conditioning, parachutes for the planes. and yes im in Pre Nursing school right now, and i will be able to apply next fall for Nursing. =]

Nicole- My boyfriend was in Division 948 state flags- he was south dakota. Im not sure exactly about holding, even Steven doesnt know, he just gave me a guestimate lol. What i guess he heard.

Stephanie, my son just left GL yesterday for Pensacola for AM. I have not heard from him since yesterday but know I am a little concerned because what you said about the holding time. What division was your son in? It is good that he will be able to move up in phases, I hope that is able to happen for my son because we live in Florida and I would really like to see him for the holidays.
I found a site to the base in Pensacola that has some great info on it. Here is the link:

Hope this helps you.

April?! Wow! Don't you wonder what they do all day every day until then? What are AM's? I'm still learning all the acronyms. That's so nice that you can talk to him everyday and will see him again so soon. I bet that makes it a lot easier for you. Did I read somewhere that you are in nursing school?

i get to talk to him everyday, he calls at random times, and its only for like 10 min. i sent him his cell phone and he will get it either tomorrow or Sat. and Steven may be on hold until April =[ which really stinks because his A school is only 5 weeks! but hes not sure yet because there are 2 different types of AM's? and the holding may be different. We shall see i guess. but the good part is, he still Phases up and i will get to see him either the 1st or 2nd weekend in November! and im glad it gives me an excuse to go to Florida lol

Thanks Stephanie. She was there for her senior trip from high school and really liked it so she's excited about going back. Was it wonderful to see your boyfriend? The ceremony was incredible, wasn't it? Congratulations to you too!
