I just read the news about a sailor missing on the USS San Antonio, please Dear Lord I pray this sailor is found, and is safe. Please be with the captain and the crew of this ship, and please give them the means necessary to find this sailor.

Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our
sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and
afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was
bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon
him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Dear Lord, Father Almighty ~ please bring health and comfort to all. Hold David close to your loving heart and protect him with Your blessed mantle. Lord Father ~ please heal the hearts and minds and spirits of those sailors who seek to do harm - either to themselves or to others. Open their hearts and minds Lord to Your promise of love, strength, comfort and peace. Thank you Father for your blessings and your promise of salvation for I am not worthy of your love. Please Lord forgive me of my sins and shortcomings for I am truly sorry. Father I ask you protect and keep fast our children, military and families. Help this nation heal Lord and give knowledge to those who lead her. Father only you know where and what our hearts have, our troubles, our worries ... give us peace Lord and comfort us. Heal those who are sick and make them well again to rejoice Your Holy name and give testimony of your love. In the name of your precious son Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

OUR LIMITED MINDS are not the source of deeper wisdom. We cannot discern what is best by ourselves. Right choices in ambiguous circumstances do not derive from our own hard efforts at reasoning, as important as sound reasoning and conscientious effort may be in opening us to the gift of discernment. The gift itself flows from a Source that far transcends our limited capacities. We may at points meet this Source as a subtle whispering of the Spirit within us. We may come to know it as the Holy Spirit working openly and boldly in our lives. We may encounter it in the risen Christ, present to teach and lead us along the way. None of this, of course, should ease us into simplistic thinking. What it can do, however, is turn us to the One whose will for our lives we seek to know.

I am asking prayer for a 19 year old sailor from our church family. He is at Stanford Hospital and on the heart transplant list. He was on his ship in the first part of January being deployed to Iraq. He developed what was thought to be pneumonia. He was airlifted to Hawaii and the flown by our brothers in the air force to Travis and taken by ambulance to Stanford. He has idiopathic cardiomyopathy. He has not responded well to the medication and has been placed immediately on the transplant list. He is faithful but very weak. His parents have 2 younger siblings at home and also are praying praying. Lift this sailor, David, and ask for god's healing hand on his body. We are praying for an acceptable donor and a merciful donor family. We know David is firmly in God's hands.

Father,
We pray tonight for the female sailor in Pensacola who tried to kill herself earlier this week, and for the young male sailor who goaded her into this act by texting her with encouragement. We pray for the sailor who beat this young man up when he confronted him. Lord, we know that You love us and want to come into our lives. Be with this sailor, comfort her and reveal Your love for her in the care and concern her friends are showing her at this time. Lord, be with the sailor who was beaten, touch his heart and open his mind to the wisdom of Your love; help him to change his ways and cause no more harm to any more of Your children. Be with the sailor who sought retribution; touch his heart and help him to see that violence is not the answer. Lord, we pray that these young people learn from this tragedy, that they come to realize just how precious life is and that it is Your gift to us and not to be misused or abused. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, asking for Your peace and comfort. AMEN

Thank you for turning around every ruin in our lives into joy and gladness. Thank you for turning our deserts into beautiful and fruitful gardens like the garden of
Eden. Thank you Father. We declare that we are receiving your comforting love, your comforting peace, your comforting provisions, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. As we receive your comfort Lord, help us to share the same with those that are hurting and in pain in Jesus Comforting Name, Amen.

Hi Gals,
My son and family are in need of prayer. He has had a great deal of back trouble and the doctor has determined he has a herniated disc. He is scheduled for a MRI on Thursday. It has been ordered by the Navy. Depending on the results he will either be stationed stateside or deployed. I know God is in control and knows the results already but I'm being a little selfish in asking for prayers that he be kept stateside. I just have those normal feelings us Mom's have for our children despite their age. He is nearing 40 with three small children.
Lord forgive me for my selfishness in asking this. Thank you for allowing me to share these feelings with my NFM's friends. I ask that you comfort all of us in our times of need. Thank you for hearing our prays as we make our request known to you. Watch over all of us and our families. In Your Holy Name I pray. Amen
