For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7

Father, allow me to surrender to whatever this day holds, knowing that you already know what’s ahead and will be with me no matter what it is. Amen

Welcome to the new ladies, Any special requests?

Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Galatians 5:25

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8

Father, I want to keep pace with you today, not rushing ahead or lingering behind. Thank you for staying with me each step of the way. Thank you for your power, strength, and grace that help me to persevere. Amen

Phoenixmom, I'll keep you in my thoughts and Prayers.

We went to visit our Military family over the holidays because Joe is deployed.  This is where we heard of all the "problems" being around all military personal and most that we have known and loved for over 12 years. they are like family, We've stood in for Parents of the bride, grandparents to little ones.... To watch their faces and panic, their fingers clicking to get any news....heartbreaking.  Our own panic waiting on Joe to contact us.... our saving Grace.  We have an Awesome God! Only a few were not heard from but the ship they were on contacted us.  Joe finally got to a safe secure area and let us know he was alive, not one of the casualties. We are one of the Blessed ones, and will never forget it. (We lost a brother in Nam) so know the fear and pain.....

My advice is to hang on to your Faith, our Living God. And PRAY.  even if we don't know what we are praying for HE does. Blessed Lord we Praise and Adore you!

Father,  Phoenixmom needs your help, show her your plan for her and her family, guide them each step of the way.  Send Your Peace to her, calm her worries and lend her your strength and courage.  Lord you work in mysterious ways, If it's your will that she depend on you, or submits to your will, I believe she is ready, she says she is seeking you Lord,  Send your Spirit to guide her. Help us help her.

Father you know our hearts, you know we worry about our service men and women, because we Love them so.  But Father I also KNOW that you LOVE them even more then we do.  You have them in the palm of your hand.  Guide them, give them knowledge, strength and courage. Most of all we ask your Protection on them and their families.  Father hear our requests but Your Will be done.  We know you are with them.  Through Christ Your Son, we ask. Amen

The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him. Nahum 1:7

Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”

Matthew 14:29–30

I want to have the kind of faith Peter displayed, Lord. The kind that gets out of the boat and takes the next step, with my eyes fixed on you.May we never falter, may our eyes remain on you and your will be done. Amen

Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced. 1 Chronicles 16:11–12

Lord, thank you for the blessings of this past year, for all your provisions and how you’ve brought me through hardships. I can’t wait to see where you’re leading me! May all my brothers and sisters in Christ grow closer to you this coming year. Give us strength and boldness to proclaim you Lord of all. Amen
