Hello Carol and Alice. I'm Carole and my son, Jan, signed up to be a QM. His PIR was on June 27 in GL and since that time I haven't heard from him. I guess it is possible that he is waiting to start A school, but I thought he would have gotten in by now. Perhaps now. LOL! He also wanted to be in the Ceremonial Guard so I don't know what happened to him at all.

I'm curious, did your sailors have any particular reason for signing up as quatermasters? My son's dad was a sea captain so it seemed like a good fit for him.

ty for joining i've been trying to find other qms.....timothy pir was 5-9 and he just started A school last monday....he was on hold for lack of room in the classes....and yes it is better cause now i can talk to my child all the time....please keep in touch...

Hello my name is Alice,my son is in GL in A school.his name is James. We are from texas,James is 19,a QM ,his pir was 5-2 .I really do miss him. I think he will be done with A school around the first of aug. One thing A school is so much better than BC they can have A phone.
