Thanksgiving was mixed bag of emotions..happy to see family and sad cause Kyle was on the ship. He gets leave for 10 days around Christmas but is spending most of the time with the x side of the family. He will stop through on his way back to the ship. So I will be thankful for that. He did spend my b day with me in Sept. so I need not be too greedy. :o) Glad everyone got to see their Sailors. Yeah!!!

Glad everyone had a nice Thanksgiving!!! Ducky - where are you at in California? My sailor is at China Lake now. Know anything about that area? Everyone have happy shopping ahead for Christmas!!! I love buying for my little ones!!! Take care all!

On Thanksgiving am, my daughter runs in and tells me that someone had scratched my car and that I needed to go check it out. So, I told her that I was busy and it was a scratch that I accidently made when I ran over a curbing in a parking lot. She insisted that was not it and that needed to go outside and look at it. As soon as the garage door opened, all I saw was SHINY BLACK SHOES and Bell Bottoms.....My sailor was home for Thanksgiving!! He stayed 4 days and had to go back. Took him to the Airport :( felt a little like the day he for BC. But, we were blessed to have each other on this site. I really appreciated all the love, care and support from you all.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our "ole" crew. I enjoy clicking over to see what yo all are doing and to see where the boys are ending up. My "B" is still in Pensacola and will graduate from A school (CTR) on the 16th. Doesn't look like he is coming home for either of the holidays as he wants to wait until he gets shipped to his C class and he will have more time off. His wishes were Texas, Hawaii, or Japan and you know my wishes. If he gets Texas it will only be 3 hours from me. Love, life, what are you doing now and Smoke, we need pictures. Lets keep up the correspondence. Granny

Have a great thanksgiving everyone. I will be going down to San Diego to spend time with my sailor after the holiday :) We're packing him a whole bunch of leftovers so he can feel more at home.

So glad to see all of you here - miss the nightly "chats" Susan- glad your sailor is coming home - Becca - so glad that things are going well and Nick gets to come home - Trish - I'm like you my sailor will not be here.
