Navy For Moms

Ever wonder what your sailor feels like when they must drive across the country to a new duty station...as a parent do you worry? What happens when they find themselves too tired to continue, lost, car breaks down, how about their families that are trying to move to them? A Sailor Rescue list can be a life saver for our sailors. If you would like to be on a list that can respond when needed..please jion this group! In private I can keep a list of those with names, area they can respond in and phone numbers. This would NOT be put in a prublic forum..but I would provide you all with my phone numbers if yuo find a sailor or their familiy in need while traveling!

Hey Susan, what a great idea, I'd love to be apart of this. And if I could help any of my adopted navy family, I'd be honored!

There are many avenues of help out there...but who does our sailors call when they are traveling and need help..US..the family they know..thank goodness for sell phones. So what can we do when they call and need us and we are WAY FAR AWAY. We can call our list for the area they are in and gt them help. The person WE CALL..would then in turn make the contact with the sailor to help. As I build this list and add it to other lists I have access to, I then can give those the main person to call for each state. I hope I am making sence, it has been a LONG day moving sheep around and I am tired. So I will get back to this tomorrow when I am more coherent! For those who wish to be in the list, PM me or send me you r name, city/state, phone numbers, e-mail address and an area you can cover..That is it! The list will not be posted in a public forum...but I can e-mail lists to those on it!

Send me an email with your personal info and I am happy to add you to the list... don't post it here on the page. Then if needed I will call you with the sailors contact info. Then you can contact the sailor in need and share your info as needed! Have a great day!

We have 63 members in this group now...but I sure dont have that many names with contact info on my list! If you have not sent me your information, please do so! Then I can update my list! Is there someone on the members here that would like to be at least one of the other MAIN contact person? That person or personS...(would like more than one other), can be the person to call and see if someone can handle a sailor in need for their area. Hope I make sense...long day!
