Thank you Dolores and Kat.. I just got a text from Alyssa and she said they got a hotel room for the nights needed.. thank you so much for your advice. I can not wait until they have an apartment.. Then they can rest their heads easily and I can relax.

Hi Beth and Joslinda!!! Joslinda your sailor's living situation is concerning ... have you tried to post this request on a group from Va? I am from Chicago and wish I could help them out. Please keep us posted on how your daughter in law is doing with her pregnancy - God Bless!! You are in my prayers!!

Hello all.. My name is Joslinda an I am so glad Carol told me about this group!! I am in need of assistance.. My son and daughter in law are both in the Navy.. James is getting ready to leave on a training mission (sorry, cant post for how long or when), seeing how Alyssa and James do not have housing on base yet and they are currently looking for apartment.. in order for them to spend the last few days together before James leaves.. they are sleeping in the back of their Jeep. Once James leaves Alyssa will stay in the ladies barracks.. a few times they have gotten a hotel.. is there any one that can help me with this.. I would hate to hear that they have spent another night in the back of the Jeep.. Both of them are stationed in Va.. oh, Alyssa is pregnant (due 7/3/09 or when the baby sees fit)...

Hi Ladies My name is Beth my daughter is an ABE on the GW I would love to be involved with things for our sailors...I miss doing things for them ..I went to Norfolk to help with my Grandchildren for a few month ...ended up staying for a year and a half and loving every minute of it....I fixed patches, hems, cooked , baked, babysat for duty days,ect... whatever they needed ... so I am back in Pa not so sure what i can do from here but let me know ..for my self if another sailor had not taken my daughter home for supper where she meet her friends brother I would not have been blessed with a wonderful son-in-law .. I would be happy to be added to the list. I live in Western Kentucky and have a spare room, and enjoy cooking for anyone. So I do not know how to sign up but I am willing and able. (also I have a salon in home so I would be glad to give them a hair cut before they leave *smile*.

I know 4 navy guys (young uns, 21, 22) who will be back in the states in May and are planning on going to Vegas. Anyone want to show them around?
