Ha Ha - yes - my son loves them now! They are on sale lots of places too. So I bought him a couple more tops and 2 long sleeve T shirts (white) that I thought would be nice for when the weather changes, but still that "nip" in the air.
How is your son liking England so far? What is his job?

Hi Nancy!
Well, my son had a nice visit with his sister for 12 days over New Years, but he ended up having to work a bunch, but that was ok because they got to spend lots of time together and travel and he was given enough time off for all that.
They both tell me it is very cold. I sent him some thermal underwear tops to wear under his uniform and he said that they help a whole bumch! I just bought a few more in the winter sales to send over in his "valentines day" package. (Along with oreos and rice krispie treats!)
How is you son doing??

Oh - Thank You! My daughter is going to visit her brother (twin) in England and will be there over New Years. They are so excited to see each other.
Your son is there too isn't he? What is his job?
Did you find out about the pay diff for the pound? They do adjust. My son said they will get all his stuff to his next duty station as well, which is nice since he just got a nice tv. But no need to worry about that for quite a while.

Hey there! How have you been? How is Jim doing? Will he be home for Christmas or New Years? My daughter is visiting Tim shortly after Christmas for 12 days. She said she thought Jim was cute !! (all your kids are beautiful!) She will be staying on base so tell Jim to watch for her - she'd be hard to miss Ha Ha!

Hi Nancy!
Saw your question about Skype. It is wonderful. Google that name and sign up, have your son or daughter or any family long distance. If your computer has a camera and microphone that is all you need. Or you can purchase them. I know the microphone is very inexpensive, I think the camera is very reasonable too - I think less than 20-30 dollars. You create a screen name and can add contacts, kinda like this site, then you can talk to anyone else via the skype likn - it is absolutely free. You can also sign up to be able to call phones via Skype, I believe you give them a credit card # and they charge 2 cents a minute. It is pretty sweet. We talk to my son a lot on it and I believe my hubby is getting me a camera for my computer for Christmas. My son's lap top has one built in. Sound comps in very clear, picture can be blurry, and a bit delayed, but it is all worth it. Hope that helps!

Are you saying that use something called skype for calling? What is that?
