Thanks DonnaS and you have a Merry Christmas and all my other Stennis Mom's and friends!
After being up almost 50 hours he made it in last night at midnight. Glad to get in his bed, lol. Gonna enjoy my time with him, love you all.

Good Mornign Navy Sister's~ Well my son did arrive safe! What a site to be held forever in my heart! I wanted to go down to greet him at the gate but for some reason the lady at the ticket counter said only if he was a minor..I went through the whole speal.. I was so disappointed so I gave up.. I did go down last Christmas and he loved every bit of it..She had to spoil the whole thing but as he came up the moment intensed. All the realtives saw him before I did. What a sight I have to admit I cried from the excitement.. I allowed his new GF to hug him first and then others and them myself...I was so proud to have shared the moment with others.. His Gdmt thinks he is the best and so proud!
Had a party to g to last evening and comeing home we go hit with snow it will go on till about 1 today.. My son had to take his GF to her college 1 hour from here and I ask him to stay so he would miss the storm. She is an RA and had to go just to close up things and a meeting..So far for the snow we only have a couple of inches..The shore line should get hit more..I am so thankful..We had heard possible foot or so.. One airline closed..Well anyway so glad that he arrived yesterday!

DonnaD~ hope you get your computer glitzes fixed..We have all beent here at one time or another.. I need to get the vista off. I have emails that just disappear sometimes..
Sherry~So happy that your Sailor got a barrecks..
fly2~ so your enjoying the time with your son??? no pic's :( I will post some real soon cause my son decided not to shave for two weeks.. He did that in the summer also..I like the baby face better but after about a week it looks better.. I will get one before my hubby snowblows also.. So all of you stay safe, and see you here soon.

Sherry my son was also lucky to get a barrack room yesterday. He will be moving into it today. Not sure who his roomate will be! I am so happy for him.

Just popping in to wish my Stennis mom 'sisters' a very Merry Christmas. My computer wont launch this site any more not sure why.. Having trouble with a few other too. So I dont get on as much (only when I can borrow) -- I will not be with my Stennis sailor, instead will be flying to be with my Other sailors on the East Coast in Norfolk, and patiently awaiting the birth of grandaughter number 2.

Cindy enjoy yor sons visit. Thinking of you and Sheila!!!! Awesome to have your sons home for Christmas. Hopefully mine will be home on the 31st to get his truck. If all goes as planned I will travel back to Washington with him!!!!

Hi Ladies! So glad some of your sailors will be home for Christmas. My son called today and he has guard duty all day Christmas Eve until Christmas morning. He has 2 young children, so they are going to wait until he gets home Christmas day and make that Christmas Eve.

Hey Katy! Still here.

DonnaS: haven't gone yet. getting to SC was easier to do than going to WA from here. sailor also hasn't made it back this way since going that way either. but we mailed 5 boxes out for Christmas today -- that should surprise him. :)
