And monkey is doing good-napping at the moment! He keeps saying, let's go to the hotel to see daddy! It's so sweet but still sucks b/c we can't see him for a while again :P

I sure hope so! He is @ the USO in Dallas airport! He said there are a handful of them still waiting on flights out! Sure hope he doesn't spend the night there and gets settled-they need a good nights rest!!

I do enjoy living in Texas during the winter months. My dad and brother live in Montana (dad is in a trailer) - and I would not like that at ALL!! Their pipes freeze and stay that way for weeks!

haha - it is funny to listen to the weather people this week. We are having a HUGE cold spell this weekend. It is supposed to be in the 20's. There are so many warnings going out because of the "Three P's" plants, pets and pipes.
You would think that we never had any cold weather. We just don't have it often enough for people to remember these things.

I am about 5 hours from San Antonio - but I would be glad to help if any kid needs it!!

Yea, the thing about weather in Texas is that we do get cold - but it only stays for a day or two. It is supposed to be REALLY cold (for us) Thursday (20's) and through the weekend. But I bet it will be back up to the 50's next week.

While it's not the Great Lakes, it's cold here, this coming weekend we'll be in the 20's at night in Central Texas.

I don't know what quarters are like there. They don't have quarters for the corpsman instructors coming in, so my son and his buddy have an off base apartment...and he's bought himself a brand new bed, he's pretty happy. Also a big TV. I'll never see him now!

Hey Tess!!! Yep, my sailor heads to SA on Tuesday! I am so proud of him! I pray he really enjoys school and does well! PIR was AMAZING!
