Won't post names (dig for yourself), BUT GOD knows who they are and they NEED our prayers. Lift their parents up as well.

I'm still in harvest mode at Thanksgiving Ally and I avoid Black Friday like the plague! Since we always go and cut down a fresh (Pacific/Inland NW evergreen) tree, we usually wait until the first or second weekend of Dec. so it doesn't dry out too soon and become a fire hazard by X-mas! No decor goes up inside until the tree decorating is done. (I'm lazy too, but can't let loose my control just yet. lol ) We do decorate the outside of the house and hubby tries to get the x-mas lights up early, (Thanksgiving weekend or soon after) even if we don't turn start to them on until a week or so later. Gotta beat the snow and ice! Too hazardous and cold to do it then! Brrr.

yippee, I got mine, only two left by the time I got down there. whew. I'm so warped, was on my way out of town for a romantic weekend away with my hubby, but made him wait for me (I was meeting up w/him and we were almost late getting to our Fri nt. destination) while I grabbed ole Santa! Now what does that say I wonder?! LOL So wanted to snatch up the other PA nurse, but decided not to deprive another family. :) I'm sure whoever you gift one or both to will be delighted! =) I'll try to do some creative shutterbugging with my little patriotic cammo man. :)

We always start the day after Thanksgiving. Still thinking about who is getting the other 2.

I got my Santa today! Now my Santa will match my Nutcracker. I think we got the Nutcracker in Camo last year at JCP. They must do a military item every year. Anyone else have the Nutcracker? I will take some pics of it and post them tomorrow.

FYI: I called my local JCP. The manager said they only have about 5 or 6 of those Santas in the seasonal display area, on sale for $19.99. Hoping to swing in and snag one. If you get the JCP mailings, just recently there was a bright red "instant money" cardstock flyer good through Nov 23, for $10 off a purchase of $10 or more! :)
