We have moms of active duty SEALs in this group. Christy, I hope they will contact you on here and introduce themselves. Once you "find" each other, you can friend request each other to send private messages, or swap email addresses. You will not want to share online where/when your sons are deployed. Also, if your son's last name is the same as yours, you will need to change your user name. Click on "Settings" to fix it, and also scroll the whole way down to change it under "Page Address".

If there isn't a site for moms of deployed SEALs we will need to start one. I won't make it without one!

Hi, I am looking for a mom that has a SEAL currently deployed. Mine is, I am extremely proud of him and what he is doing. We get to talk occasionally, but I am glad to know that he if doing okay when he has talked to his dad, his brother or sister. I am interested in your feelings and how you are coping with the deployment. Being in a different state while training and being stationed across the country is one thing, now this is definitely harder.
Looking forward to talking with other moms dealing with SEALS deployed.

Great, Jennifer! I bet she will be glad to find you, too. Try friend requesting her on her profile, which should allow you to write a short note about who you are. If you don't get a response, just write on her comment wall so she can contact you.

kimandtheboys,
I think I've found another 274 mom. How do I address her on the N4Ms website and make it private. Can I use names there? Or do I have to just use my own email address? Don't want to mess up. You know,...I've had problems in the past.

Hello Kellie
Is your boy in 276? If so there is a group for "Class 276"
My son just finished week 1 of phase 2 as well. I was out in San Diego for Mother's Day, and met most of the class. What a great group of young men! See my comments on "Class 276".

Thanks for the article, Angie, I had not heard about that. My heart goes out to the family. Sounds like he was a fine man and well loved SEAL.

Hello ladies. Just wanted to stop by to express my sincere condolences to the entire SEAL community on the loss of one of your finest last Thursday. :( I'm so sorry that Eric lost his life training near one of the Naval bases in my beautiful State. As one whose family experienced a similar loss (my BIL during a military training exercise) years ago, my heart really goes out to his family!! How I wish I could invite his Mom to be a part of our "Mom's of Fallen Heroes" (for Gold Star Moms and supporting friends) Group on N4Ms. What a difficult Mother's Day this was for her, one of many difficult days to come. I know this hits waaay too close to home; my intention isn't to upset anyone, only to honor his service and memory here. God Bless and keep safe all these valiant men! Here's the story:
