Amber had a beautiful wedding, just before Thanksgiving, and then her husband had to return back to Washington, while she stays in San Diego. Pray that one of them gets granted a transfer.

I am sorry that Ryan had to miss Thanksgiving with you guys. Erik had to work on Thanksgiving also, but we were lucky enough to have him home the next day thru Sunday. Hopefully, Ryan will be able to take some leave and make it home for Christmas.

Erik was able to make it home the day after Thanksgiving for the rest of the weekend. We really enjoyed our time with him and I think I really enjoyed his time at home because we had to chase him out of the house so that he could drive back to his base and get some sleep before he had to work on Monday. You know these young men, they think they can burn the candle at both ends. I hope Ryan can make it home to spend Christmas with you.

Thanks Tammy, you too. I hope your holidays were nice. Were you lucky enough to have Erik come home, or will you see him at Christmas?
Ryan did not come home on Thanksgiving. I hope he makes it home for Christmas. He starts a new school on Jan 2, so I am not exactly sure of his plans. Sure do miss him.

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and the upcoming holidays are wonderful, safe and healthy for all of you and your families. Last year at this time I was mentally preparing myself for Ryan to leave to go off to boot camp. Amazing how much has happened in less than 1 year!

Erik hung out with Amber and Ben all the time when he was in school, although I didn't realize it was her until just a couple of days ago when Elda shared her news.(You know how it is when they don't use first names). He said that they were really cute together. Congratulations to Amber, Terri, Ashley and Brett! I am like Cathy and warning Erik to not drink any of the water when he gets back! Take care, all

The navy seems to have been a wonderful choice for all our sailor's careers and love lives!
