Have heard from several of you on your sailor's progress with the Navy. Just want to stop in and say hello--it's been a year since PIR! How amazing.

Our newlywed is home with us on leave with his bride. It's been fun cooking dinner for a family again.

Hi Rhoda

It sounds like ship/division numbers are being recycled. This group page had PIR on 08/08/08. You may want to start a new group to find your sailor recruit's shipmate families. Let me know if you need help doing that.

Stasi--congrats on A school grad. I can't believe he is coming home for a visit. How great!
We saw ours on Columbus Day. The weekend was way too short. I had to make sure he didn't catch me crying before we flew back to St. Louis without him.

I talked to Michael and he is going to be graduating A school in two weeks. We are excited for him and can't wait to see him when he comes home. Hope everyone is doing well. Life is busy here so I don't get very much time on the computer anymore. Will check in when I get a chance.

I have a son sleeping hard on my couch (it's a guy thing). The only thing I can think of that would make me happier is to have two sons battling for that same couch!
