Hi - My daughter Amanda is DIV 193. We have received 2 letters. And, are waiting on a phone call. She has not received any of our letters.

Has anyone received the grad pack yet?

Hello,
My Jacob is Div 188 Enterprise. I talked to him a few minutes ago. I have gotten several letters and 2 phone calls. He had surgical complications and they let him call us. He said that graduation is 10)% sure for the 15th of May, but some of them will be grad & go. Also, he said the the paperwork about graduation has been sent. These boys need letters, Moms. Jacob told me that if you want to see 80 grown men cry, look around at all the guys. They are missing us like crazy right now. Jacob says it's good food, tons of ironing, and just boring. I have heard that firefighting will start soon and that will be more exciting for them. I also know his bunk mate is from Terra Haute, IN. We are also Indiana, so that's good. Jacob is a letter writer ( I've gotten about 10 letters), so I'll post if I get more info.

Hi Sandy,
My son is Div 190, USS Enterprise, PIR 5 15. We did receive a couple of letters last week, Thursday. I'm from Jersey but proud to have a "soon-to-be Sailor" on the Enterprise! I made reservations at the Marriot this past weekend but am also waiting for definite dates to get the plane tickets. Be patient. I know that's much easier now that I have "heard" from my son but once you get that first letter, the world is a much better place! :-)
If you want to talk, I'm here!

Sandy, go to group:

PIR 5-15-09 (Div. 188-195 & 926)

Look for Dee. She started the group and her son is in Div 188! There are a few others you will find there too!

My step-son Jarrett is on USS Enterprise, Div 188 - anyone else on that ship/division from Tenn and PIR of 5-15? We still haven't heard anything since the form letter..praying he and all our sailors are hanging tough and will get to make contact soon. We made reservations at Springhill Suites...anyone else staying there...not made plane reservations yet because we don't have our PIR book yet and don't want to risk a big airfare change fee. GO NAVY!!

Thanks Kat :)
Joshua is doing well and soooo happy he'll be stationed in San Diego....
I'm thrilled too. He'll be on the largest carrier the Navy has, The Nimitz.
any questions ladies feel free to ask

My husband is in Div 195 and still no letter. I am trying to be patient but having a hard time. It really stinks when you think about maybe getting a letter all day and then you get home and Nothing is in the mailbox. Praying for tomorrow.

Hi everyone
Just wanted to say that my son graduated 2/13 and we live in California, our
1st letter was 2 weeks into Boot Camp and came pretty regularly every Thursday. Sometimes on a Wednesday. They get to write on Sundays and they get mailed out Mondays .....You get your 1st call anywhere between week 3 and 4.....I know how hard it is, trust me...but before you know it, they're in A school, have their phones and you talk DAILY :) it's terrific....oh and get to send them some goodies from home. You all take care, be strong and have a good day.

Hi All,

My daughter is in Div 193 and I have yet to receive any letters but then I also live out west so I will be one of the last to receive them. One of the wives in our division just received letters from her husband but she lives only 3-1/2 hours away from GL....so they are coming.
