Hello Ladies, sorry been so long - it has been crazy times for me. I did make it to Texas, I enjoyed spending time with my family the time came and went so fast. We then went to Pensacola, FL to watch my daughter (sailor #1) graduate from "A" School - I was just so proud. She is headed to Japan for THREE years - UGH!!! could they have sent her any further. She is excited so I am excited for her - but the mom factor has kicked in. My son is still in "A" School and is donig very well. THe holidays are going to be weird this year - no kids at home. We are starting to experience the whole empty nest thing. However, God does have a way of balancing things - our middle daughter and her hubby are expecting and are due in May and they live 2 miles from us. YEA!!!!!! someone to play with.

Annette, you need to tell me how the whole skype thing works - because I am giong to rely heavily for that form of communication.

I concur - Fort Hood - just soooo sad.

NB - when did baby girl get to Pensacola? She should love it there - it is a nice base and a great area.

Blessings to all and Happy Holidays

Hello EVERYBODY!!!!!!

Annette, so glad to hear form anyon in here. Beginning to think no one was coming back in here. lol....
Yes, we do need to pray for all... I'm so glad to hear Aaron is doing great. The baby girl is doing great in P'cola. My Army baby is now in Bagdad. 3 weeks now. So, I have to admit , I'm been a bit shy being on like I was.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Hey everyone! Well Aaron is doing good in school so far! He will be there for awhile (Goose Creek) He will get to come home for Christmas. I am so glad for that! We do get to talk on Skype, so that is good. He has been studying hard but I think he really likes what he is doing. He sent us a picture of him in his dress blues, very impressive. We all need to remember the soldiers and the families of the ones lost at Fort Hood. That is so tragic for something like this to happen here. I will be praying for all!

Good morning everyone!!!!

Lisa,

They moved her to help in legal. She said she is liking it. She has her own office. Told her she would probably be there another 2 months. :{ She's okay with it, but not sure when they are going to even start on her medical.... So, it's a waiting game at this point.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.....

Tabatha, Oh I hope she don't do the undesignated - that would be tough. She needs to pick something and at least go to school and have a trade and maybe cross over later. Looking forward to a peaceful weekend. I need it.

Hugs to all and have a great weekend yourselves.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!

Lisa,
I totally forgot about the anniversary. Did you enjoy your trip? Happy 1 Year!!!!!!
Baby girl is fine. She is actually enjoying being on Ship 5. She was in charge of all the female recruits, but they moved her to legal yesterday. I'm not sure what her job will be there. The chief asked her if she would like to stay there for the next 6 months. She told him no. LOL. Since Aircrew started and won't start another school for 6 months, she is thinking of going undesignated. Which means she will ship off to Japan for a year.... I don't like the sound of that, but It's what she wants. She is supposed to go in Friday for her classification. so, we will see.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day.
