I also have plans to be there. My girlfriend was doing it and asked if I wanted to help. What a great way to pay tribute to the fallen!

Wreaths Across America Dec. 12th 2009 @ Bushnell National Cemetery. 12:00 noon Simultaneous with Arlington's wreath laying ceremonies all across the world. MiaB, that's sounds like it was alot of fun. I haven't been on this group for some time. Been pretty busy and then concentrating on the Nimitz group helping with the xmas project to get every sailor (about 7,000) stockings or goodie bags for xmas. Looks like we're going to make it. Helped make the time go by a little faster but still miss my son alot and will really start feeling it around the holidays. But we have their homecoming to look foward to next year. Can't wait to head to San Diego. Well I will keep looking in to see if another get together is planned. I would really like to try to make the next one. Take care everyone.

Hey Ladies...I haven't been on here since end of July. OMG!! Bad Navy Mom!!! Actually we were gone for 3 1/2 wks in August in our RV. Went up to our daughter's graduation from FSU and then cruised north(to get out of the heat) to MI(hubby's relatives) and then to Niagara Falls and then over to NY to see my SAILOR! Had a great visit with him for about 4 days. Hadn't seen him since Easter. Trekked home slowly and had a relaxing vacation. So most of Sept flew by trying to catch up and actually Shane was able to come home this past weekend for a 4 day w/e. It was nice to have him relax....he's still not done with Nuke School, but he can barely see the light at the end of the tunnel. Very stressful, so a trip home was in order. He relaxed and visited with friends and left this past Monday. Haven't heard from him all week, as he's pulling 14 hr days! So proud of my Sailor. He's putting in for Staff Pickup in Saratoga Springs, so wish him luck. But who knows! He's in it for the adventure.
Missed all you ladies! When are we getting together again?
