Kathleen, I don't know what the policy of the Patriot Guard Riders is there, but we (some IA and IL PGR members) man (and woman) the local airport during opening hours for two weeks before the holidays to welcome the military. Sometimes parents contact the PGR so we know when someone is coming in, but this time of year, we just stay at the airport because almost every flight has someone. Oh! I'd have met up up with you all for his return, but I'm flying out on the 29th for Great Lakes, as Steve's PIR is the 30th.

How exciting for you - how long has it been since Jonis has been gone? You've got to be soooo excited!

Hey .... got a question... I've heard of parents talking about ppl meeting a plane & welcoming home Sailors/Solders, etc.... Jonis will be coming home on leave the 29th... I was wondering how I could arrange a welcoming commettie for Him... Any help would be appreciated....
