Anyone able to post in the Waco newspaper? I've tried blogging and H.O.T. spot and it won't let me register without neighborhood zip code in Waco, etc.
Who was able to pat Poppa Rolla's on the back for our meeting?

Congrats Pamela!! Giving Love Life.

Everybody has pregnancy stories. I was finishing up a degree when I got pregnant with Gregory. I had a history professor who told us that a major paper was due on Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. and there would be no excuses. On Nov. 29 at 2 p.m., I was in the hospital giving birth. I remember lying on the table, looking at the clock and wondering if the prof would make one exception to his no excuse rule. He actually was pretty nice about it. He asked me if I wanted to take an incomplete and finish up later. The doctor told me there were two things he didn't want me to do - drive a car and return to school. But I was determined. The day I got home, I got in the car and drove to school. Sometimes, you just have to do what you have to do...

Hi, with the talk of grandbabies, I have to add in that my daughter is due in 2 weeks. She has broken out in what they call a pregnancy rash which is like a bad case of poison ivy. It started on the stretch marks and now covers her whole belly. It has now spread to her arms, legs and feet. She is miserable with the constant itch. It is suppose to go away after delivery. She is going to ask the doctor today to induce her because she is going crazy.

Oh the dreaded "Pit Drip" I had that on my third and 5th child. The first one I weathered the whole thing naturally, the second time I had pnuemonia and couldn't breath thru the contractions so they did an epidural. When the dr came in and said it was time to push, but wait till he was ready, I coughed and out came my son. The doc had to catch him like a football to keep him from hitting the floor.. Ever since then I always think of that moment when I see somebody bungy jumping....LOL

I know what you mean. The funny part is that with the first one, the doc gave me too much of the local anesthetic, which deadened everything so much that I could no longer feel any of the contractions. I could see them on the monitor, but couldn't feel a single thing. They had to get suction and pull him out that way, with me trying to push him out the best I could. He had a goose egg on the top of his head for the longest time. But he turned out to be so smart! Wonder if it could've been the "oxygen therapy"? LOL!!!
