A Little Bit About TEXAS

Welcome all Moms who hail from the very proud state of TEXAS!!! Please tell us about where you live in Texas (we all know it is pretty big). Also, give us an idea about what your Sailor is doing and where he/she is (watch for OPSEC issues, though).

Hi all, new to the group. We are from the Spring area. My son graduates from BC next week, can't wait. Has been a long nine weeks.

The bash on Nov. 21 sounds fun. We'll only just be coming back from Washington that day, though. Promised sailor we'd bring him his van. I don't know which he's going to be happier to see: us or the van!

aw - Havefaith - what memories!! My Sailor left for bootcamp on Dec. 19, 2007. FYI - I got lots of phone calls - one on Christmas Day for about 30 minutes!
Also, if his PIR is the Friday before President's Day - he will have the following Monday off also (government holiday).
