I thought I was going to be able to handle it. Might have been easier if they weren't all happening on the same day. My son is going to be attached to the GW.

aw - Mom of 2!! How amazing for you!! I have another friend whose son just got to Yokosuka and he absolutely LOVES it!! In fact, there is another Texas mom whose son just got there also (Theresa, Cole's mom). She lives near Beaumont.
It doesn't get any easier does it?

Well I have a son on his way to Yokouska, Japan. And a son they are taking to the hotel today for the swearing in tomorrow. Did not sleep a wink last night. Thought I was going to be able to handle it all in one day. I guess it ain't happening.

Debbie, I am not sure. I've not heard anymore. I noticed that some moms from the area were saying to contact them through PM's, so I am hoping that someone got contacted. I am not sure I would even be on their route there. I do know the funeral is Monday.
Kathleen, you need to pop in here more often!! They didn't talk about it much - but is was mentioned. We also had one last weekend in Old Town Spring - that was fun "window" shopping for me!!
I am having major plumbing problems - so that is what my "at home" son is getting for Christmas - new faucets in my bathroom. I'll redo his this summer.

Hey... If today's get together was close enough for Eagle Mom to attend I bet I would have enjoyed attending as well... I'm in Waco so I'm not that far.... Sure wished I'd known... I need a little Navy Mom contact....

Brenda Sue, when are the young men coming to San Antonio? I just moved from where I used to live and am now across the street from where our fallen heros are laid to rest. I would love to help any way I can!
