Normally, I scroll through and pray, but today I feel a need to post a prayer request. My father served as a sharp shooter, but has since retired. He was so proud this summer when my son decided to enlist in the Navy. He was looking forward to taking this journey with me... BC, PIR... but that dream may be cut short. He has Leukemia. It was in remission since last year, but yesterday he got the news it is back. Today, he is meeting with his Oncologist to see if there are any other options for him at this point (they think it spread to his lungs now). I asked my dad what I could do, and he said 'pray' for hope and peace, Hope they can bring him into remission again, or peace to accept the fact the Leukemia has won. So... I came here to ask for those "Christian Soldiers" to pray with me. Thank you. God Bless....

No Dor-No call yet,but I am going to GL tomorrow. If I have to stand at the gates to see her I will. I think we may have been mistaken and BS is tonight. Seems no one in her division got the call.
A School grad in GC was nice, but nothing like PIR. Are you going? Quincy had a 6 week delay between A school & Power School. I think that is the "norm".
Power School only begins every 2 months.

Marie -Jimmy is almost doen with A school at GC! He grads on Oct 2 but apparently they are hol for power school so he won't start until Jan 15

Did you get the call yet??

Marie your daughter will do great she has the lords support so everything will be ok. Prayers will go out for her.

Dor-Thanks for prayers. YES, am going to PIR. Where is Jim now? Our son is in GC in Power School and upset he can not make it to PIR for his sister.

Hi Marie, will pray for your daughter!! Seems like so long ago that Jimmy was going thru BS...only a few months though -LOL We are going to his A school grad Oct 2. Are you going to PIR??? Let me know when you get that I am a sailor call!
