Kathleen ~ Pauls mom Comment by Kathleen ~ Pauls mom 1 day ago
I think he got it because of the Navy trying to keep families together. With his Marine brother already stationed over there, he gave his command all of his brothers information. Then we started praying they would do it, for once they did, now both of my boys will be together. They are already planning a party for when Paul arrives lol. They are very close emotionally, but seperated by 7 years.

Kathleen, that iis great news for Paul. I think that is Adam's first choice too....after another year of schooling...

Good morning folks, well Paul finally has orders, he will be on the Destroyer, USS Chung-Hoon, and it has the home port of Pearl Harbor, such wonderful news. His brother Andrew the Marine is across the island at Kaneohe Bay. I feel a vacation coming on in the spring!!!!!

That was so sweet. Katie is having her first birthday away from home on Saturday. I wonder if there is a place that will do that up there. I will have to look into it. But I am unsure what her plans are also, with it being Halloween who knows. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts. She is getting better finally after 2 trips to the hospital over the weekend. That was so hard not being there.

It sounds like he is doing well down there. I am so glad to hear he is happy with his decision. I hope they all enjoy their adventures in life. God bless them.

I hope Joey is doing better and that it is nothing too serious. Adam and Zach (Ronnette's son) are still in SC in power school, and doing great. Adam still loves his navy life. He wants a fast attack sub, preferably in WA, HI or SD, so we shall see. (he has at least another year before he goes to fleet). He just had his first birthday away from home. I had his favorite dessert delivered to him by a restaurant there (they deliver to the base) and he was thrilled (but graciously said that it was good, but "but not as good as yours, Mom".)

No, her group is out of Jax right now, then to transfer to Norfolk eventually.

Bob will be on Fast Attack subs. Don't think they have women on those, I may be wrong. It would be nice if they could at least be based together. Is she going to be in Groton after C school?

Maybe he will be assigned to the Truman, that is the ship Katie is assigned to. Please say a prayer as she is sick and at the Hospital right now. She is in Norfolk for C school. I hate this part of it. She should be close so Mom can take care of her.

No posts in San Diego. Bob will stay in Groton. He and his wife are very happy about it and are now anxious to hear what boat Bob will be assigned to. We are also glad that they will be on the East Coast for a bit longer. Maybe we will finally get the chance to get up there and see them. Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi everyone, Chris starts FMTB on Monday, 13th. He has been working in the Delmar Dental Clinic since he got there. He has several options open right now but it looks like he will be staying in CP for probably 2 years yet. If that happens, it will be okay with me. It is supposed to be his duty station. He hopes to get promoted to HM-3 and if so, his Chief has already talked about his "lodging" possibly off base. If this happens he hopes to start a program for Disabled Vets diving. More on this later if it happens. Glad to hear of everyone's accomplishments so far. My how times flies when we're all having such fun...hard to believe ladies that it's been 10 months since they went in...we have worked so-o-o-o hard at this!
