No, her group is out of Jax right now, then to transfer to Norfolk eventually.

Bob will be on Fast Attack subs. Don't think they have women on those, I may be wrong. It would be nice if they could at least be based together. Is she going to be in Groton after C school?

Maybe he will be assigned to the Truman, that is the ship Katie is assigned to. Please say a prayer as she is sick and at the Hospital right now. She is in Norfolk for C school. I hate this part of it. She should be close so Mom can take care of her.

No posts in San Diego. Bob will stay in Groton. He and his wife are very happy about it and are now anxious to hear what boat Bob will be assigned to. We are also glad that they will be on the East Coast for a bit longer. Maybe we will finally get the chance to get up there and see them. Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi everyone, Chris starts FMTB on Monday, 13th. He has been working in the Delmar Dental Clinic since he got there. He has several options open right now but it looks like he will be staying in CP for probably 2 years yet. If that happens, it will be okay with me. It is supposed to be his duty station. He hopes to get promoted to HM-3 and if so, his Chief has already talked about his "lodging" possibly off base. If this happens he hopes to start a program for Disabled Vets diving. More on this later if it happens. Glad to hear of everyone's accomplishments so far. My how times flies when we're all having such fun...hard to believe ladies that it's been 10 months since they went in...we have worked so-o-o-o hard at this!

Hi! John is in SanDiego and really likes it out west. Lots of military out his way. He had been out there since mid July and even took a trip to Hawaii to be on the ship to welcome back a group at the end of July. He thinks we will be there for awhile.

Ok, well looks like assignments are coming down in the next few weeks. I know that Bobby is excited to start his career and be done with the "classroom" portion. Not sure where they are going yet. Will keep you updated. Has anyone else been assigned a duty station yet?

I was astounded when I saw that commercial and heard what "music" they were playing. It offended me actually. Maybe I am a wee bit sensitive, but hey that belongs to the Navy not a Cruise Line.

Hello everyone. I haven't seen that commercial, but only watch the News and NCIS, funny huh. But was addicted to the show because of Mark Harmon. I hope all is well with everyone. Katie is doing well and is in Jax. Poor kid can't hardly get out of Florida, she is ready for deployment. She joined the Navy to see the world and she keeps ending up in her home state.Which is good for her since she has dedcided she does not like cold weather. She is already complaining about the chill in the air up there. We only get that once in awhile down here in South Florida.

I hope all the newly weds are doing well. I know we had some Moms in school as well, how are you doing? Any other news? Hope to hear from ya'll soon.
