Hello All! It's been a long time :)
Whitney graduates from A school nextTuesday. An 18 year old Air Traffic Controller - never would have imagined it! I get to go play with her for a couple of weeks, then she comes home for a bit before going on to Virginia Beach. Sounds like everyone is doing well and getting through schooling. I'm so proud to be a mom of a Sailor!!

Paul has finally started A school, there was a really long hold, then he had to do AWAT, then ATT not he is finally in A school, should grad mid November then onto C school. He is going to try and get based in Hawaii where his "little" Marine brother is now stationed.

Has anyone been in touch with Scott? Do we know what Meghan is planning on doing? I hope that b/c wasn't for naught for them and that they are doing well.

We're pretty happy that Goose Creek closes down for Christmas!
We'll have both the boys home! Andy is getting married Dec 27 and Brian will be his best man. Andy's home right now on leave. Brian is still hitting the books at GS. We hope to see him in Oct sometime. I hope all is well with everyone. It sure is hot here in Texas!

Joey, I'm glad that Katie's doing good. Adam and Zach (ronnette's) are both doing good in Goose Creek and will be finishing up A school soon. Adam finishes 7/31 and Zach does the week after. But Adam does not get to come home until Labor for his leave and doesn't start C (power school) until October....our bright side is that Goose Creek closes down for the holiday so they come home for Christmas and New Years. (but we won't see him Thanksgiving).

Joey, glad to hear from you and that Katie is doing well. Bob just finished up his EFT school in Groton and is on hold until the beginning of August for Sonar school. That will take him through the first of the year. Seems to be happy and doing well. Married life agrees with him. We miss him. Hope to seem them both around Christmas as well, but they Navy will make that call.

hello, all! It's been a while.

Katie wrapped up A school yesterday and is coming home for 2 weeks before moving on to Jax. (She said, I joined the Navy to see new places and I keep ending up in Florida. How does that happen?) She has C school still and will then go for her first cruise right after completion of C school. No Thanksgiving or Christmas this year. This is so wierd, but it is her job and all i can do is make it Christmas for her at sea. Here it is July and I am worried about Christmas. Crazy...

I hope everyone is doing well. We are just painting and redecorating the house. So it is keeping us busy between trips and visiting friends and family and of course the dirty four letter word...........work.

Hello everyone!
Jordan reported to the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland on June 15th. He will be working there for about 18 months. It was nice to have him home for a couple of weeks, but it sure made it hard to let him go again. Hope everyone is well

Hello everyone! Checking in to catch up here... our kids sure are growing up fast... seemed like yesterday we were most concerned about them getting our letters, getting a chance to call home and then making it to PIR! Now they are the world travels, out on their own, preparing for their careers and life choices, all in 6 months!
Hope everyone is well. I heard from John the other day. He will finish up his last class next week and come home for his liberty before flying out to SD! He is very excited about getting these orders and I am happy for him to have this opportunity to go out west. I know a lot of other sailors are there or going there.
I here SD is great.
Have a safe and happy summer and I'll check in again soon.

Where will Jess be stationed? Where will the wedding be? It is nice that they will be stationed together.
