Thanks Nancy!! My son had been part of the honor guard when the remains were brought on last week....don't see him in the pictures but nice to know the rest of the story. How DO you find all these goodies???!!!

As I had mentioned before, if I saw anything of interest on the ship-sponsored Family site, I'd mention it here.

It appears that the Discussion forum on that site is starting to pick up activity, and then it appears they are doing a "photo of the day" which is like 3-5 photos in one.

And so for those who have access, you might want to go check out those sections.

Carlotta - I got an email just tonight, but that's only after having waiting several days since the last one. I guess they've all been pretty busy. Hopefully you'll get an email soon.

oops ... eMail access has been quite limited since they left. And since they left last week the cell service is probably done. Some carriers have some service on the water off the east coast, like Sprint.

I am looking for more pictures ... from when they deployed or from the Family Cruise .... Anyone have any ?? Please post or eMail to me ... kgb218@gmail.com

Have any of you heard from your sailor since they have been underway? I e-mailed my son but have not got a response yet. I did talk to him via cellular phone on Thursday but have not heard anything from him since.

Our daughter is a BM and you are right she may need to be physically on the ship prior to gaining access to the web page. That's ok we can wait, we should find out Wednesday when she officially flies home and how long she will be here. She will no doubt get to VA well before her report no later than date since its the 20th of June. Anyone from this group in VA?
