See thats the differents having boys and girls. I know my son will never send me a box of goodies from Greece. I will be happy if he takes pictures. When I read your comment I wish he was a girl. LOL

I just got a great package from Michelle! Olive oil, T-shirts, and various goodies from Greece! I hope she gets her birthday package soon also.

I haven't heard back from him, so I'm not sure, but I will suggest it. I was going to see where he got them form last and see if they would send a replacement. Maybe going to see th Dr on the ship would be faster though.

We heard from our sailor too, but only once while in port right before leaving actually, it happens that way with most, they hit a port and they are free and get busy and the days go by fast for them and because its something different their minds are racing a mile a minute, the fact that they are off the ship is a GREAT thing and they forget to connect with love ones, not this way for all but it is for a lot of them. My ex-husband was this way every cruise.

Hi my dh was just told that after his experience with the OC spray that his eyes won't heal back to what they were. So he went to the dr on the ship wed and they had to order them. They should be to him in 4 weeks. Has he tried going to see them about his?

I'm trying to find out where he got them - this way I can decide how to get them replaced.

Sounds like a extra pair of glasses would be a great gift. Maybe Christmas.

oh gosh jennifer....my patrick broke his back in norfolk, and he took forever to get himself in to the base facility to order a new pair. then they were delivered with the first mail delivery on deployment. so ....that's been our experience. maybe if your son talks to medical dept., they can give him some idea of what to do?

I got e-mail from Patrick today!! He sounds like he's really doing well, which means so much to me. Unfortunately he broke his glasses and now he can't see...any idea how he can get them replaced?
