Hey ladies Tucker is home and we got Skype all hooked up and are using it so we are good by the time he gets to Japan.

Veleda thats great news :)

Sad news though ---he got home Friday night and on sat called his friend who told him his other friend had died, and the funeral was in 2 hours. so the first thing he did home he donned his dress blues and went to a funeral OUCH !!

Good news ladies, I have finally heard from my Sailor, he sent me a few text messages to let me know he is there. He is not on the ship until friday, since it is out to sea. I want to Thank you all for your continued support and understanding, while I wigged out. He is safe and he is there. Have a good night.

Hi girls, my turn on Dec. 5th to play the waiting game. Robert got is orders yesterday and will heading home Monday for 18 days then off to Japan. I hope you hear something soon Veleda !! I can't wait for Robert to be home. I had to give him the devastating news Wednesday that his best friend was killed back here at home. He took it so hard and just wanted to be here for the family. I can't wait to hug him. I can't imagine not being able to jump on a plane when someone you love dies, it must be so hard for these sailors when they just have to wait : ( I did my best to talk him through it on the phone. The only good thing from this is he realized that he is doing the right thing in his life right now.
Kathy, saw Danielle's picture again this week ( the photographer must have thing for her, that pretty face is always in the news !!!) Congrats.
Thanks girls for this small wonderful group. I can't wait until Robert is with your seasoned sailors !!!!

Hi All,
I can confirm that - Kristina eluded to returning to Japan in the near future.
Hang in there Velda - the not hearing anything part is one of the hardest things we have to do. Something none of us was prepared for. You will hear something. We're all here for you too.

Velda ---I understand 100% I am worried about when Tucker gets there and me not even knowing he made it there. So I understand totally Please any information makes your mind at least at ease :) Fingers crossed you hear something soon
