Linn --- I talked via the phone to Tucker and told him to find Kristina and say hello. I also asked him that all I want for xmas is to see his face on skype. So maybe our kids will be right next to each other while Xmas Skyping !!! LOL

Linn; I LOVE IT that Jonis & Kristina are buds.. It's is such an amazing feeling to be able to chat w/you all & know our kids are chatting too.. I just can't describe how it makes me feel... He'll be home in 10 days....HAPPY DANCE/HAPPY DANCE & LITTLE GIRL GIGGLES & WATERY EYES..

I'm so excited. I just Skyped with Kristina for 45 minutes then her dad came home and they talked then her sister came home and almost 3 hours later - she was falling asleep in mid sentence so we said our goodbyes. It was wonderful - we haven't been able to SEE her for about 3 weeks. She sounded great and looked even better even though she'd been up for the last 24 plus hours. We made plans for spending Christmas together via Skype ... it's not the optimal but we'll take what we can get. And I was pumped to hear that she's even got plans to go to church on Christmas Eve. I was actually keeping myself awake at night worrying about such things - how ridiculous is that. Ok, thank you all for listening. I've cried some tears and now I feel better. Kristina said anyone's welcome to ask her anything and if she doesn't have the answer - she'll find it. Just tell em to ask for Ensign Gladstone. Hey Kathleen, Kristina says she and Jonis are really good friends and have lots of really good conversations. That is sooo cool. Ok - so I myself am falling asleep now so I'm going to say goodnight. Hope all's well. Take care.

I will tell him to go to the gazebo. We tried to Skype one day ---I could hear his voice but could not see him,then we disconnected and it never returned. 45 seconds is what we got.

Molly, if Tucker has a laptop with the webcam, the McD's doesn't have the greatest signal but there is one there, the better signal that Danielle used was at the gazebo that overlooks the water and you can see the arch at Mikasa Park. When Danielle first got to Japan she would use those two places and it was neat to see the water behind her at the gazebo. I can ask Danielle where there are other places where you can get a good signal. I'm thinking that the MWR Fleet Recreation may have one too.

I know what you mean Mollly I keep reading and seeing how others have there Sailors home or coming home and I get sad too, Holidays are the Hardest especially Christmas. At least we have each other :)) to complain too!!!
I think that would be a great song!!!!

Uggg Im watching the world (my world that is ) N4M & FB so many are getting their sailors home for Holidays. I know most are in school and they all seem to get to come home --- but there is a little part of me that gets (sigh) This is the 2nd year for one of my sailors and to add insult to injury now I have 2 sailors gone for Xmas. Uggggg
know what I want for Xmas ????? I want Tucker to find the spot that Skypes and I want to see him and I want my other one to call (or better yet fix his laptop and SKYPE also ) LOL

I can make that a song ---- All I want for Xmas is my 2 to Skype, my 2 to skype. LOL LOL

Hey is ANYONE on the ombudsmans list and getting information ? I request 2x and once she came right back and asked if I was a mom or wife ---I said mom and she has never responded ???????
