I bet Dennis wouldn't mind if you sent a package for Steven to his address. Do you want me to mention it to him or just have Steven do it? Dennis was in a great mood when I talked to him today. He's going camping. I think Steven is going with them...we were in a restaurant and it was loud. I think that was what he said. He's planning on picking up a fishing pole. I don't think he's been fishing since he's been out there and he loves to fish. He didn't say if his cookies made it there yet.

I know the feeling. When you are able to talk and text them....the letters stop. I keep meaning to send him cards and pictures, but email is so easy. I am trying to do better. So how is Michael doing?
Steven is hanging in there....hear from him every now and then. Guess I should send him a message and see how he is feeling.

Hi everyone.
Yes Beachmomma,you do have to use a custom form when sending packages to APO or FPO address. I sent Michael packages before his deployment to the same address.
I have to get around to putting a package together. Since they are not deployed
I kinda slacked off in that area.....

Thinking about seeing if I can send it to Dennis's address (can bribe with extra goodies). How is he doing? Mine thinks he is coming down with something

I know why they didn't ask. I sent it to the apartment address. I bet they won't need it if you tell them that it's going no farther than SD. I guess it won't hurt to fill one in just in case. If you're like me, you have a stack of them at the house.

did you have to fill out the custom form since you where sending a package? I was told a form had to be filled out whenever a package was mailed to an APO or FPO address.

Beachmomma-Had the same thoughts this week and sent Dennis cookies. Send them to the ship address we used on deployment and he will get it. I hope they're in better shape than the last I sent. Navy/Army Mom-Maybe Todd will come join you for lunch when you're working. That's what Dennis did when he was home on leave. I know that I don't have much energy after working a 12 shift but understand your wanting to get every last second with him.

Beachmama, yes, just send it to the ships address. Tdhe ship moves not the address. Maybe it will get t here sooner than when on deployment?

Todd is leaving for Chicago today. He will be there for about 3 weeks for schooling then back to San Diego. He is coming home on the weekend and I have to work both Sat and Sun 12 hour shifts :( I will take any time I can spend with him though! Haven't seen him since he was home last Christmas.

need to send some mail to my son-since he is living in the barracks and hasn't given me any address...can I mail it to the ships address? and if yes-it is the same address as when they were out to sea? would like to send him some goody boxes but hate to have to fill out the customs form if I don't have to.
